Banana, Coffee, Peanut Butter Smoothie

banana-smoothie-1.jpg

This smoothie is my absolute FAVORITE.

Growing up my dad would make banana coffee milkshakes for my brother and I as a treat. Entering college and focusing heavily on athletics, I wanted something that tasted like home but would compliment all the hard work I was doing on the track and in the weight room; I came up with this glorious creation. Sometimes I’ll have it for breakfast, sometimes for lunch, post a hard workout, or just as a sweet treat after dinner. You’ll find yourself wanting to find ways to add this into your day. Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 Frozen Banana
1/4 C Oats
1 Tbsp Ground Coffee
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter (or powdered - I use Organic “PB Fit” Peanut Butter)
1/2 C Almond Milk (I use “SoGood Original Almond Milk”)
1/2 C Cold Water

Optional

1/4 C Yogurt (I like Vanilla Bean Coconut Yogurt from “The Coconut Collaborative”)
1 Tbsp Shredded Coconut
1 tsp Chia Seeds

Steps

Place everything together in blender and mix together - add more liquid depending on desired thickness
